Car Hire Insurances
Collision/Loss Damage Waivers may or may not be included in car hire in the Northern Mariana Islands so check the terms. This offers the opportunity to save a considerable amount by taking out a full worldwide CDW policy before collecting your rental car.
Likewise the level of third party liability insurance provided may be minimal. This can be topped up to $1 million with Supplementary Liability Insurance (SLI) added to your car hire excess or CDW insurance. Do not reject basic third party insurance even if it is extra though as SLI policies are intended to top up existing cover (however little) rather than provide complete third party cover.
